A couple of years ago Cathy went on a journey along the Adriatic Coast. Starting in Venice and the port city of Trieste in Italy, she travelled through Croatia to Dubrovnik, pearl of the Adriatic. Visiting Croatia’s Plitvice Lakes, for their breathtaking beauty, and one of the Mediterranean’s loveliest coasts with Dalmatia’s rich heritage of classical, medieval and Venetian monuments and towns. Porec, Zadar, Hvar Island, Split, as well as Mostar and Kotor, were all visited, each with their own unique character and flavour.
