Carla Hawley of the founder and foundation president of the Jane Austen Society and speaks about the methods and madness of trying o recreate the England of Jane Austen on film., competing with the masterful writing of one of England’s great social commentators Carla Hawley will illustrate her talk with slides and film / video evidence of the triumphs and disasters, Carla is currently in the process of completing a PhD on Jane Austen at Monash University
