TASSELL MAKING WORKSHOP with Denise Williams

Learn to make an exquisite Turk’s head knot tassel similar to those featured in the Christmas display in the Yellow Drawing Room. You will assemble the tassel quickly and simply from prepared components (fringing and cord) and then be free to practice the Turk’s head knot on a separate length of cord.

The Johnston Collection Shop will stock an exclusive range of tassel kits in glorious hand-dyed shaded colours for you to repeat at home. However, solid colours of the cord and fringing are readily available at crafts stores. Use the tassel to embellish a special key, handbag, bottle of wine or a gift. One will definitely not be enough.
