STUDY DAY 2018 | PRIVATE COLLECTIONS : The Value of Art & Ephemera

Our forthcoming Study Day will consider this and other ideas around collecting and collections, how their fate is assigned and by who, with a particular focus on the changing value of collecting ephemera.

This all-day event features a panel of expert speakers including freelance curator and curatorial adviser for  Point Leo Estate and former Director of Geelong Art Gallery, Geoffrey Edwards, arts journalist and author of Whitely on Trial, Gabriella Coslovich, artists Loris Button, Deborah Klein, Louise Saxton, and Carole Wilson, Director of the Michael Buxton Collection Luisa Bosci,  Head of Art History/Art Curatorship at The University of Melbourne, Associate Professor, Christopher Marshall, President of the Ephemera Society of Australia, Amanda Bede, and other speakers who will provide a range of insights into a variety of fascinating private collections and their fate.
