HOW A DESIGNER WORKS: The creative process with Anna French

Anna French, Costume Designer, daughter of an exceptionally creative family, has a wide range of interests and talents from costume design, theatre, set design to curating exhibitions, in particular, The Art of Stage Design for the perform Arts Museum.

Anna is currently working on the costumes for the Australian Ballet’s World Premier production of Stephen Baynes’ ballet, 1914. Also in the pipeline is an exhibition about the Primrose Pottery Shop - the fascinating life of its owner, Edith MacMillan and the marvellous things that shop sold, the subject of a future lecture.
