EXCLUSIVE EVENT | AFTERNOON TEA | A ROOM OF HER OWN with Robyn Lea

Thursday 5 May 2022, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Now, more than ever, we are searching for new ways of thinking, new ways of living.

Join acclaimed international author, photographer, and director Robyn Lea to hear more about the dazzling homes of twenty extraordinary women from around the globe illustrated in A ROOM OF HER OWN: Inside the Homes and Lives of Creative Women.

Across sitting rooms and studios, castles and country estates, this is a book of daring inspiration. In this new Renaissance period - a time of artistic, cultural, and intellectual rebirth - these women have chosen to carve out their own space to live creatively. Artists, designers, makers, and curators invite us into their domestic and professional domains to reveal a world of meaning and purpose beyond status and consumerism.

ROBYN LEA will reveal the ways in which these women live with meaning and purpose. In doing so, she will take us beyond the aesthetics to explore the ideals and practices of the artists and designers, guiding us on a new and exciting path forward.

From Melbourne, Sydney, Florence, Milan, and New York to castles in the French and Austrian countryside A ROOM OF HER OWN is offers an injection of optimism and joy at a time that it is desperately needed.

A ROOM OF HER OWN is a manifesto for the 21st century.

This special event is presented on-site at TJC. Please see your ticket for details.
