The Annual Friends Christmas Party 2024 will return to Astolat, the gracious nineteenth century Italianate villa residence and garden. Enhanced by its exotic and ornamental landscape garden, with a wide carriage drive, mature trees and shrubs, plus tennis court and pavilion, this beautiful home will open its doors for The Friends, and their friends.

Built in c.1884-1886 for the Derham family, this Camberwell property is a typical nineteenth-century suburban villa and garden for Melbourne upper-middle classes. The elegant and beautifully maintained garden surrounding this impressive Victorian mansion has significant historic trees and unusual species including azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias.

Celebrate the achievements of the year and welcome in the holiday season. As a very exclusive Member Only event for The Friends, there will be delicious wine and very special hors d'oeuvres to enjoy. Take this opportunity to reconnect, relax and celebrate, with old friends and new.
