In 1952, after only five years in London, William Johnston had sufficient funds to acquire Fairhall and invest in properties in Melbourne.  East Melbourne represented the townhouses so fashionable in London. And Johnston started buying. 

Join The Friends for a leisurely walk and talk, and view “William Johnston’s East Melbourne” discovering some secrets, and histories of celebrates and other prominent properties and personalities, along the way.

There will be a stop for morning tea refreshments at the conclusion of the walk.
