SPECIAL EVENING with Catanach's Jewellers

Catanach's Jewellers was founded in Melbourne over 130 years ago with the legacy continuing for over five generations.

Amanda Catanach, Managing Director of Catanach's Jewellers, will present a talk focussing on the jewellery of the Edwardian era and La Belle Époque.  This was a period of tremendous technological and social change, described by J B Priestley as 'the lost golden age’.

Amanda will move from astonishing bespoke pieces made for those whose fortunes were riding high, to the mass-produced items which made jewellery available to those of more modest means.
