PRIVATE COUNTRY GARDENS IN SPRING

The Friends Garden Tours are always very popular, giving members and their friends the opportunity to learn from gardeners who have been able to create their own paradise.

This self-drive day exploring some very special country gardens will commence at 11:00 am visiting and touring an exclusive property in Merricks Beach. This tranquil garden is a rose lover’s delight as it is almost entirely devoted to the flower, underplanted with hippeastrum and salvia in formal beds. For a relaxing lunch, we will head on to Red Hill South, and Food on the Hill Café which has a BYO wine licence. We will then drive on to the afternoon garden, the Red Hill Peony Estate, where we will have the exclusivity of the estate for a very private tour over the Peony Paddock.
