Join The Friends to bring in the festive season at this not-to-be-missed event. The Friends Committee is delighted to announce the annual Christmas Party 2019 will be celebrated at a beautiful home in East Melbourne.

Our Christmas destination will be a single storey, double fronted, circa 1867 Hawthorn brick with a timber veranda house that was once the home of Philip Nunn, the younger brother of Crumpton John Nunn who, with Mars Buckley, founded the department store, Buckley & Nunn in 1851. Philip joined the firm around 1857 and remained a partner almost until his death in 1907.

This stately home of gracious proportion, has rambling charm and substance with 5 bedrooms and 3 formal rooms. The garden, both front and back, are delightful and there is a garage and workshop with space for up to 6 cars.
