AN EVENING AT KOZMINSKY STUDIO | All that Glitters is not Diamonds: A Celebration of the New Precious

Thursday 27 Jun 2024, 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

Simon and Isidore Kozminsky founded their company in 1851 and established a reputation of selling the finest antique jewellery, objets d’art, silver and furniture, playing an important role in the cultural history of Melbourne.

In 1969, Kurt Albrecht, an employee, bought the business and on his death, his daughter Kirsten took control, continuing the family business until 2017. After 40 years working in the business, Kirsten made the decision to close the store, ending an era. However, this loved and respected brand was too good to let disappear and Kirsten joined with her former colleague, Dat Van, to create a new concept that would distil the successful essence of Kozminsky, the beauty, elegance and history, into a more refined offering. Kozminsky Studio was born.

The Friends once again have the opportunity to visit the team at Kozminsky Studio for an exclusive presentation, “All that Glitters is not Diamonds: A Celebrations of the New precious”, with refreshments served on arrival, prior to the presentation.

Address: Level 2, 349 Collins Street Melbourne VIC 3000
