At the Johnston Collection we strive to provide a warm welcome and to share our knowledge and enthusiasm of the visual arts and design with all our visitors. The Johnston Collection recruits Volunteer Guides every two years. Our next intake will be in 2021. We are currently looking for volunteer guides for Saturday and Sunday as well as Wednesday, Thursday and Friday tours. Successful applicants are required to take part in an intensive 10 session training program scheduled to start in June 2021 (subject to change). Please note: Training will be held over ten consecutive Fridays.
We currently have a Volunteer opportunities for a housekeeper and Curatorial & Collection officer. Our other General Volunteer positions, which include Administration | Marketing and Reference Library, are currently full. However please keep checking our website for updates.
Because of the conditions of the Permit to Operate issued by the City of Melbourne parking is not permitted within the vicinity of The Johnston Collection. There are a number of public transport options available.
