At the Johnston Collection we strive to provide a warm welcome and to share our knowledge and enthusiasm of the visual arts and design with all our visitors. If you have an interest in art and design and would like to help us enable more people to access and enjoy this very special place, why not apply to be a volunteer guide or volunteer?
The Johnston Collection recruits Volunteer Guides every two years. Our next intake will be in 2019. Successful applicants are required to take part in an intensive 10 session training program scheduled to start in late February 2019 (subject to change).
Please note: Training may be held on Saturdays.

We currently have a Volunteer opportunity in Visitor Services for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our other General Volunteer positions, which include Curatorial & Collection | Administration | Marketing and Reference Library, are currently full. However please keep checking our website for updates.
Because of the conditions of the Permit to Operate issued by the City of Melbourne parking is not permitted within the vicinity of The Johnston Collection. There are a number of public transport options available.
