PEARLS & PINOT | an exclusive evening soiree and fundraiser

Tuesday 29 Oct 2019, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

The Friends of The Johnston Collection along with Adrian Dickens of CircaAD Jewels invite you to an exclusive evening soirée. Whether it was Nell Gwyn, mistress to Charles II; Wallis, Duchess of Windsor; Queen Victoria; or Diana, Princess of Wales; pearls have for centuries been a beautiful wearable jewel to compliment and adorn any lady.

From simulated to freshwater, cultured to keshi, this is a unique opportunity to hear in-depth from Adrian Dickens. A must in any jewellery collection, Adrian will intoxicate you with the rich history of wearers and their exquisite pearl jewellery served with examples that combine craftsmanship and captivating designs along with everything there is to know about this gift from Mother Nature.

Join Adrian as he introduces us to an extensive array of pearls and discusses these organic gems. There will be pieces available to enjoy and purchase. 10% from every sale will be donated to The Friends@20 fundraising campaign.

Wine and light refreshments will be served.

ADRIAN DICKENS is a regular contributor and gives talks and presentations nationally and internationally. He has managed some of Australia’s fine jewellery houses and now runs CircaAD Jewels.

Tickets include a $50 tax deductible gift donation. All donations and profits raised at this event will go directly towards the acquisition of a Bow porcelain factory, figure of Kitty Clive, England, circa 1750 to mark the milestone o The Friends@20 and their ongoing support of TJC.
