JANE AUSTEN AT FAIRHALL with Stephanie Mann

The program ends with a new performance devised by Stephanie Mann. This time Jane Austen is found in Mr Johnston’s house talking about manner and customs, style and contemporary events – England seen through Jane’s letter. Most of the action will take place in the house, thus groups will be kept small.

There will not the usual guided Tour; rather, relevant parts of the Collection will be integrated into the performance. Afterwards, over lunch in the Kent Room, Stephanie will elaborate on aspects of her performance.
