THE MAJOR PERIODS OF BOW PORCELAIN with Patricia Begg

Monday 28 Aug 2000, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Bow porcelain was the first bone-china ever produced in England. From Thomas Frye's first bone-ash infused blending in 1747 the Bow Factory’s name has been cemented in the annals of porcelain making.

Join acclaimed ceramic historian Patricia Begg and she takes us on the journey back to 18th century England where it all begins.
