QUILLING | A round table workshop with Jennifer McLeod

Tuesday 6 Mar 2007, 2:15 PM – 3:45 PM

Quilling dates back to the late 13th and early 14th centuries when the poorer churches used gilded and silvered edged paper to imitate solid gold and silver filigree work. Quills were used to roll the paper around and thus this term quilling was coined. Jennifer McLeod has been a quiller for some 25 years and in this workshop she will teach you the delicate art of paper filigree.
