Join The Friends for a discussion of a celebrated writer’s fascinating short stories which encourage in-depth examinations of both the arts and life. Kazuo Ishiguro won the 2017 Nobel Prize for literature and his novel ‘The Remains of the Day’ won the Booker prize in 1989.  In 'Nocturnes',  his five short stories, he examines two major themes of life, love and the passing of time through the prism of music.
