Since the death of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022, her Cartier jewels continue to feature prominently in the jewel box of the British Royal Family. Many pieces are embued with history and stories, and all possess the recognisable characteristics of the iconic “Maison Cartier”.

Whether gifted by a betrothed, spouse or lover, or commissioned by the wearer, the pieces featured in this talk are unique. From the style of the Duchess of Windsor, the extravagance of Barbara Hutton, and the over-the-top creations belonging to Maria Felix, this talk discusses many of the pieces seen adorning the rich and famous.
