This illustrated talk will explore lesser known but public collections and mansions donated to the City of Paris by Jewish and Protestant bankers, the owners of La Samaritaine and wealthy industrialists of the 19th Jacquemart-Andre.

SYLVIA SAGONA is a Fellow of the School of Languages at the University of Melbourne specialising in 19th century French art and society.
