ABOUT LACE: From a Pope’s Collar to a Cottage Curtain with Patricia Begg

Friday 7 May 1999, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Patricia Begg has many passions, one of them being lace. An historian, Patricia needs to know the whole story, finding beauty of hand-made lace as fascinating as the mass-produced lace of the 19th century. The 19th century is the main focus of her talk. As usual, the talk will be illustrated using many examples from Patricia’s extraordinary collection.
