Description
figure group, three in front of flowered bocage standing on a roughly rectangular base. From left to right: a farmer in a green coat holding a spotted pig in his right hand and a stick in his left; a woman in a black cloak, sprigged dress, pinafore and bonnet holding a swaddled baby; a parson (clergyman, vicar, priest) looking to the right, with clasped hands. On the base from left to right: a basket of eggs, two spotted pigs and three sheaves of cornmore flowers and greenery. The whole exquisitely detailed, coloured in bright overglaze enamels and modelled in the round.
